Toolbox Assessments is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to developing, maintaining, and deploying state-of-the-art assessments to researchers, clinicians, and educators across the globe. Our mission is to make quality health- and educational- assessments more accessible. Our product suite allows for assessment across lifespan—NIH Baby Toolbox®, the NIH Toolbox® and the Mobile Toolbox—and is available in English and Spanish, with some tests available in additional languages.
Our Vision
Using advanced test development techniques, our goal is to promote measurement science and outcomes research as the building blocks to excellent care.
Our Family of Products

NIH Baby Toolbox
Over 30 assessments available in one iPad app, allowing for assessment of children throughout infancy and early childhood (ages 1 to 42 months).

Mobile Toolbox
A suite of digital assessments available for smartphones, allowing for remote and flexible evaluation of participants. Currently the Mobile Toolbox is free for use, and is available through REDCap®.

NIH Toolbox
Over 50 digital assessments available in one iPad app, allowing for assessment of participants across the lifespan of 3 to 85+ years.
